French balcony rules
There are a few rules to follow when you want to install a French balcony.
If the fall height is 3 meters and more, the railing must be at least 1100mm high.
The railing should hold for normal load and the attachment of your French balcony should be done in the house frame.
French balconies from us at Design External meet all the requirements well
Our choice of materials gives us all the advantages of aluminum. Due to the fact that aluminum only weighs one third of what steel weighs, it greatly facilitates the installation of your French balcony from Design External and therefore making it safer.
All French balconies from Design External are also surface-treated and are therefore completely maintenance-free and protected from rust and corrosion.
However, we at Design External always recommend that you use a local craftsman so that the correct screws and bolts (not included with the purchase) for the house frame are used and that your French balcony is installed correctly.
